Introducing Our Global Crypto Infrastructure Suite: Bitnob Business and Bitnob Enterprise

Jun 3, 2026 5 min read

Today, we are excited to announce the public launch of Bitnob Business and Bitnob Enterprise, two product lines that give SMEs, fintechs, developers, banks, and any institution with a global ambition a single front door to our crypto infrastructure platform.

Bitnob Business is the managed tier. You sign up, integrate the APIs, and ship a crypto-enabled product. Bitnob Enterprise is the non-custodial tier. You hold your own keys, run your own treasury and compliance frameworks, and use Bitnob as the operational rails beneath. A single Bitnob account opens both.

First launched in 2022, Bitnob Business provides businesses with access to managed infrastructure via APIs and dashboards, enabling them to launch and scale financial products without managing blockchain infrastructure or internal operational complexity.

Over $4.5 billion has moved through the rails since. We operate across 110+ countries and 25+ currencies.

Why two tiers?

For five years, the same underlying infrastructure has served two very different kinds of customers.

The first kind wanted a managed platform that removed operational complexity and let them ship fast. A fintech founder in Accra building a stablecoin savings product. A remittance startup in Nairobi launching virtual cards. A freelancer in Lagos collecting USD income from clients across three continents. They wanted to focus on their product, not on running blockchain infrastructure.

The second kind wanted the opposite. A bank embedding Bitcoin and USDT custody for corporate clients. A treasury team that, by policy or principle, would not delegate custody, key management, or governance to anyone. They wanted to own the parts of their business that defined them, and use Bitnob for everything else.

Today's launch formalises both paths.

What you can build on Bitnob Business

Bitnob Business covers the full lifecycle of receiving, holding, converting, and sending value, all from one dashboard and one API.

Provision custodial wallets for USDT, USDC, and Bitcoin in minutes. Issue virtual USD cards in two formats: reusable Standard cards for everyday spend and single-use Lite cards for SaaS subscriptions, ad budgets, and other short-cycle expenses. Accept local-currency deposits through virtual accounts that auto-convert to stablecoins. Convert assets through a Smart Order Router that touches multiple OTC desks and order books simultaneously. Settle payouts into bank accounts across 110+ countries and 25+ currencies. Run payroll for up to 10,000 recipients in a single CSV upload.

For the importer in Lagos who used to wait five business days for a wire to clear, losing two percent of dollar value to FX slippage along the way, this is a same day settlement. For the fintech founder in Accra, this is a stablecoin product live in good time.

What you can build on Bitnob Enterprise

Bitnob Enterprise extends the same product depth for organisations that need to keep custody, key management, treasury controls, and governance in-house.

You retain your own custody architecture, supported by external key management through HSMs, AWS KMS, and third-party signing systems. You run your own treasury controls, approval workflows, and compliance frameworks on top of Bitnob's operational infrastructure: non-custodial wallets, Corporate Treasury for capital management and cross-chain liquidity orchestration, an OTC Desk that clears institutional block trades off public order books, Node Services with RPC infrastructure deployed in Lagos rather than Frankfurt or Virginia, multi-chain Bridging, internal-liquidity Swaps, and an Insights layer surfacing real-time stablecoin flow intelligence.

For the regional bank that quoted a 14-month internal build to offer Bitcoin and USDT custody to its corporate clients, this gives a faster launch. For the growth-stage payments company stitching together five separate vendors for global contractor payroll, this is one API. Vendor count drops to one.

What our founders are saying

“The next generation of financial institutions won't outsource the things that define them, including how assets are secured, how risk is managed, and how their customers are served. Enterprise gives them the infrastructure layer underneath Bitnob without asking them to give up control.”

Bernard Parah, Founder and CEO

"Any business adopting crypto should be able to do it from one platform, one API, one operational layer. When wallets, cards, payouts, treasury, and trading sit on the same platform, operators can focus on scale and improved user experience over wiring multiple tools together."

Edward Amewu, Co-founder

Why this matters now

The institutional case for crypto infrastructure has, in twelve months, become impossible to ignore. The U.S. GENIUS Act has formalised stablecoin issuance for American banks. The EU's MiCA regime is operational across 27 member states. Citigroup has called the moment blockchain's "ChatGPT inflection." Across Sub-Saharan Africa, stablecoins now account for 43 percent of all crypto transaction volume, driven less by speculation than by practical use: salary, supplier payments, treasury management, international commerce.

Businesses are becoming global from day one. The infrastructure they build on needs to match.
