Sending Bitcoin On-Chain Just Got Cheaper

Bitnob just made Bitcoin transactions 60% cheaper. Sending BTC via on-chain now costs only 6,000 satoshis instead of 15,000

If you’ve ever sent Bitcoin on-chain, you know that fees can add up fast. That’s why we’ve been working behind the scenes to ensure you keep more of your Bitcoin while enjoying the same seamless experience on Bitnob.

What’s new?

Our on-chain BTC transfer fee has been slashed from 15,000 satoshis to just 6,000 satoshis. That’s a 60% drop, meaning your transactions cost less, and you get to save more.

The Engineering Behind the Slash

One of the key engineers behind this update explains it best:

"On-chain transactions can get expensive, especially when network demand spikes. We optimized how transactions are processed, improved fee estimation, and made batching more efficient. The result? Lower costs for users, without compromising speed or reliability.”
