Discover how Bitnob is investing in Africa’s developer community through hands-on bootcamps, Bitcoin education, and hackathons, starting with Uganda.
Africa’s developer community is growing fast and not just in numbers, but also in ambition. From local fintech experiments to open-source contributions, there’s a desire for knowledge, tools, and opportunities to build with intention. That’s why this July, Bitnob is heading to Uganda.
We’re hosting a 4-day Developers Bootcamp and Hackathon in Uganda, which is designed to equip developers, software engineers, product minds, and startup founders with practical skills in Bitcoin development, Wallet architecture, and Bitnob API implementation.
Supported by Tether, this is more than just another tech event. It’s a chance to learn, collaborate, and launch ideas that could shape the future of financial technology on the continent.
Why Uganda?
The East African tech scene is developing at a fast rate, and Uganda stands out as one of the region’s most exciting hubs for emerging talent, brimming with young, brilliant developers and product thinkers eager to shape what’s next.
This isn’t just a learning opportunity; it’s part of a broader, intentional commitment to support Africa’s developer ecosystem and fuel local innovation through hands-on education in Bitcoin development and Bitnob’s API technology.
