These features have been designed to provide you with a seamless and convenient way to take control of your finances, manage your daily needs and give you a better experience of the Bitnob as a lifestyle app. 

What’s new on the Bitnob app?

Bitnob’s New Look

New year, new look! The updated Bitnob app gives you a brand-new layout. You now have quick access to all the essential features, including bill payment, airtime and data, gift cards, and virtual dollar card features. 

This version also gives you the opportunity to easily see both your USD and BTC wallet balances at a glance.

Pay Utility Bills

Bitnob’s Pay Bills feature supports your day-to-day bills such as electricity bills, cable, and satellite TV subscriptions, and so much more. 

How to Pay Utility Bills

• When you log into the Bitnob app, tap on “Actions” at the bottom of the screen.
• Tap on Utilities
• Select your country
• Select the bill or service you want to pay for. 
• Fill in the amount you want to pay and the details of the utility you’re paying for, then tap on “Next”. 
• Enter your pin and voila! You successfully paid your utility bill.

Airtime and data

Bitnob’s airtime and data feature enables users the opportunity to buy airtime and data directly from the Bitnob app easily. The app supports all airtime providers for Nigeria and Kenya. The same goes for the data providers as well. 

You no longer have to withdraw money from your Bitnob and into your bank account to buy yourself airtime or data. 

How to Buy Airtime

• Tap on Actions at the bottom of the screen.
• Tap on Airtime
• Select the country of the recipient OR Select country
• Select network provider
• Fill in how much airtime you want to buy and the phone number you’re buying the airtime for, then tap Next.
• Enter your pin and voila! You successfully purchased airtime. 

How to Buy Data

• Tap on Actions at the bottom of the screen.
• Tap on Data Bundle
• Select country
• Select the network provider and choose the preferred data package from the dropdown. The amount will be automatically displayed. 
• Tap Next
• Enter your pin and voila! You successfully purchased a data bundle/plan.

Gift Cards

On the Bitnob app, you can now easily buy a gift card from all the stores you know and love and share those gift cards with your friends and family. The gift card feature enables you to buy gift cards from stores like Target, eBay, Amazon and so much more.

The gift card feature gives you access to a wide range of outlets including restaurants, cafés, and food delivery services like Uber Eats.

How to Buy Gift Cards

• Tap on "Actions" at the bottom of the screen.
• Tap on "Buy Gift Cards".
• Select the kind of gift card you want to buy from the list provided.
• Fill in the number of gift cards you want to buy and the email of the recipient of the gift card, then tap on "Next". You can only buy a maximum of $100.
• Enter your pin and voila! You successfully bought a gift card.
